BRIGHTS’ THEATRE.

CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP. Mr A. F. Jauncey, a well-known Aid highly respected resident of Christchurch, has boqght Brights ’ theatre from Mr H. McMillan, and takes over on February Ist. Mr Jauncey, who has traversed various parts of the world, is much impressed with Otaki, while he considers the theatre one of the best for a small town he has seen. While regretting the departure of Mr McMillan, who has done much for the town and district, residents, no doubt, will give the new proprietor a hearty welcome. Mr McMillan, during his term here, has helped all local objects, and his many, friends will wish him every success in any venture he undertakes. Incidentally, it may be mentioned, Mr McMillan is negotiating for' the purchase of a theatre in Auckland.
