BOWLING
Saturday was an ideal bowlers’ day, and in consequence the match between Otaki and Karori,' played on the local green, caused a deal of interest. The green was in line order, and although Otaki won easily games were enjoyed by all players. Following are the scores, Otaki being mentioned .first in each case: Freeman, Webster, Bills, Noble (s) v. Beed, Edwards, . Laird, Cathie (s), 20—16. A Smith, Williams, Kilmister, Windley («) v. Lowe, Edwards, Burn, Beed 13—0. Only sis heads were playcd. Smith, Webster, Windlcy, Noble (s) v. Beed. Gapes, Laird, Edwards (s), 10—12. Williams, Whiteman, Bills, Satherley (s) v. Cathie, Lowe, Spifers, Burn (s), 20—11. Smith, AVebster, Windley, Kilmister (s) v. Gapes, Cathie, Edwards, Spiers (s), 16—10. AVilliams, AYhiteman, Noble, Bills (s) y. Lowe, Beed, Burn, Laird (s) 27 7. Otaki, five games, Karori oue. Points: Otaki 92, Karori 76. Levin bowlers arrived at Otaki today and are taking part in a friendly match with members of the Otaki Club.
