OTAKI SPORTS.
To the Editor. Sir, —Your correspondents, “Willing Worker” and “Old Bird,” are evidently new-comers to Otaki, and have tailed to make enquiries from those who take an active interest in sports as to what is being done in that direction in Otaki. The Otaki Amateur Athletic Club, which is affiliated with the Wellington centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association, held a very successful meeting on the domain on St. Patrick’s Day last, and the principle athletes from Wellington to Palmerston took part. It is proposed to hold this year’s meeting at Easter time, aud it is to be hoped that “Willing Worker and “Old Bird,” will attend the meeting to be held shortly to at* raugo programme, etc. —I am, etch, J.
