" To the Editor. Si, —I made no reference to Paraptiraumu in my letter, I only threw out the hint that “some” sports bodies overcharged. And some do—and beyond all reason. Last year I attended one function, and I believe they even charged for a glass of water, while unripe plums sold at a penny a piece. I am glad Mr Howell defended his Club, and rightly so. It shows he has some go in him, and acts only for the best. — I am, etc., OLD SPORT.
