To the Editor. j Sir,—lt is with regret that X draw attention to- charges made at Various sports' gatherings for rofres fanents, chiefly fruit. Tho promoters, ii t many cases, have the habit of charg tog exorhibant prices, in short are pre ifiteers, and for their sake and the sake of the general public they should be sa flh'sfied with a reasonable profit. As "V Raikanae and Te Horo Clubs are to gatherings—we hopo successful ones- —let them see that their charges, esjted ially to kiddies, aro fair. —I am, eta., OLD Sl?OB.T.
