' NOTICE RE POLL. •URSUANT to Section 7 of "The ' Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908,'' I hereby give notice that a PoiT of Electors will be held on WEDNESDAYj the 12th day of January, 1921, for the purpose of deciding whether a certain area shall be formed into a Borough, viz., all that portion of the Otaki Town District and the Horowhenua County, as duly defined in plan lodged with the Minister for In? ternal Affairs, and duly set forth in advertisement appearing in the "Otaki Mail" Of August 16th, 1920, subject to amendment made by the Commission appointed to enquire into The proposed borough area. And I hereby appoint the Otaki Town Board Office, Otaki, as the place, and WEDNESDAY, the 12th day of January, 1921, as the time on which to take the said poll of electors. PURSUANT to the provisions of "The Shops and Offices Act, 1908," notice is hereby given that a Statutory Special Meeting of the Hutt County Council will bo held at the Offices of the Council, 6S, Lambton Quay, Wellington, at 12 o'clock noon on TUESDAY, the 18th January, 1921, to decide what working day in the week shall be the Statutory Closing Day in the separate district under the jurisdiction of the Hutt County Council, and all persons interested are requested to communicate with the Hutt County Council prior to that date, or attend the said meeting with the view of enabling the Council to fix the most suitable day.
