CAMP AT OTAKI.
Some 140 to 150 boys, under the charge of Mr Taylor, of Wellington will arrive in Otaki on the 27th inst. and camp on the Otaki Maori Racing Club's course, kindly lent for the occasion. The stands as well as the grounds will be at the disposal of the . lads, and the dining-rooms, etc, will also be utilised. Already several local residents have offered a sheep each, ' potatoes, etc.. and have otherwisa offered to assist the lads, who will be under a deal of expense. During their stay in Otaki the lads, with their | leaders, will give two first-class enterj tainments, to which the Otaki public | will be granted admittance. In turn j it is hoped that an effort will be made jby local residents to entertain the visitors, by giving a concert and otherI wise hilp to mike their stay aa enjoyI able one.
