BOWLING.
On Saturday three rinks from the Knrori Bowling Club will visit Otaki, when three games of sixteen heads each will be played. Play will start at 10.30, and the following will represent Otaki: —Williams, Webster, Kilmistcr, Olliver (s); Gooding, Windley, Bills, Noble (s); Ayre, Howell, O’Rourke, Brandon (s). A competition for the Russell Cup between rinks representing town and country will be held on the Otaki green on Saturday, 18th inst. On Boxing Day six rinks from Jobnsonville will visit Otaki, while on Anniversary Day members of the Hataitai Club will be present.
