WANTED—A WATER TROUGH.

To the Editor. Sir, —For some time past I have wondered why no provision for horses or animals, for drinking purposes, has been mado in Otuki. It is easily to be seen that there is no member of the S.P.C.A. lives here. Personally, I think it is a disgrace to Otakj to have no water trough. I don’t know of a single place in Otaki where one can water one’s horse. In the old days there was a stream where horses could drink on the way to Rangiuru, but now even that is fenced in. I should like to air this subject in your paper, if you have room in your valuable space.— ITours. etc., MILICEJvT feIMCOX. Otaki, December 3rd, 1920.
