Mis-. Louise Mack (Mrs Creed) is j s • present in’ Auckland, j Mrs Daniel (Wellington) !» at present on a visit to Otaki. Messrs J. P. Brandon. G. Kiiaby, and •J- R. Bills were yesterday sworn in by the S.M. at Otaki as justices of the Captain and Mrs Bax left to-day on a holiday visit to Napier, and during their sojourn there will stay with their son, Mr F. Bax. The Rev. Father Mein, who has f.s,en very ili. with an attack of measles, is mow making good progress, lister Leo -has also been indisposed, suffering the same complaint. Mr and Mrs W. Baker and family, of Otaki Railway, leave shortly for Palmerston, where Mr Baker has been appointed tablet porter. During their stay in Otaki Mr and Mrs Baker iiave n.idrr friends, 'prill be j sorry to bear of tbeir departure. The j change is being made on account of ‘ Mr Baker ’s {health.
