FRIDAY'S SHOW, On Friday neat the Horowhenun Horticultural and'lndustrial Society's Spring Show will lie held at Brights' Theatre. _.:s* ff Intending exhibitors are reminded that all entries elose on Thursday next' at noon, and no entries will be received on any account alter that hour. Copies of l lie schedule and entry lists may be secured free on application to the secretary (Mr S. Norgrove) or from members of the committee. . Classes arc provided for pot plants. cut blooms, fruit, vegetables, decorations, cookery, children's schoolwork. needlework, etc., and a large entry i:expected in all classes. The chiel attraction of the show, however, will be the roses, of which a magnificent display is hoped for from all parts 01 the district. Attention is specially ; drawn to one or two new classes in the j rose section. Mr 11. Witchell offer.- i three special prizes for three garden j Toses, while the Kahui Co-op. Company j oilers a special prize for a display of < cut roses, not to exceed sft x o£i. j quality of blooms ami arrangement to j count,' These classes furnish oppor- J timity for exhibitors who may have f apses not classed as purely exhibition j iroses, but which make n lovely dis- S play.
