SCHOONER ASHORE.
THE LILT AT KAPITI. The well-known auxiliary schooner Lily, which left Wellington os Monday evening cargo-laden for Grey mouth, went ashore at. Kapiti Island on Tuesday night, during a gale. Tie vessel’.: plight was first observed by the ttcarri trawler Nora Niven, which was sheltering under Kapiti Island. The schooner is reported to be almost high and dry at low water, but is not in a dangerous position.
