Jerome’s great symbolical play, and tells the entrancing story of the coming and passing of “The Stranger,” who brought to a dingy, sordid house the light of loving kindness and understanding. For Thursday's night’s programme the management ot* local theatre has secured ** Innocent, ’ f described as “a smashing drama by a master playwright. and showing a great actress at her best. M Fanny Ward is featured in this iilm, and Jills the bill admirably.
