(To the Editor.) j Sir, —The Otaki Town Board’s pro- i hibition of letting off fireworks in the J streets may lone been effectual in j daylight when the culprits could be j seen. However, in the darkness it was i more honoured in the breach than the j observance, and fireworks were thrown I on to the verandahs of some private j houses, with a risk of fire.
