WEDDING.

~\ EVANS—BEST. A very quiet but interesting wed (ling was celebrated at (tie To Hero Methodist Church on Wednesday afternoon last, when Miss Kate Rachael Taylor (Kitty) Best, second daughter of Mrs and the late Air James Best, To Boro, was married to Mr Thomas Charles Even, sou ol Mrs Evans, of To Boro. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. \Y. 0. Slade, M.A.. amt was witnessed by a large number of interested friends. The bride was becomingly robed in white crepe-dc-chitie with the orthodox veil and orange blossoms, and carried a lovely shower bouquet, composed of mock orange blossoms and rhododendrons. Miss Myrtle Best (sister of the bride) acted as bridesmaid- She was dressed it: apricot-coloured crepe-de-chine, wit., hat to match, while her bouquet was of roses and maiden hair fern. Mr Andrew, of Bunnythorpe, acted as best man. After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of the bride's mother, 1 i Willow Grange,Hautere Cross. The newly-wedded couple, who are both well and favourably known throughout the district, received many handsome, valuable and useful presents. They left for the north by motor car for their honeymoon. Mr and Mrs T. Evans 'will reside at Te Horo.
