MANAWATU SHOW.
SPLENDID DISPLAY PROMISED. This event is to take place on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and promises to be an excellent display o£ the industries and stock of the Doiniir- ) ion. j Entries have come well up to the I mark, especially in the cattle division, which exceed last year's total by 70 odd. There will be special train arrangements so that all will be able to bo present at the Metropolitan Shu/, one of the year's greatest events. The Governor-General will be prosent on the second day of the show, and we only hope that wo will have ■: little fine weather so as to enable i < i (o give him a cheery welcome to !':■:- ! merston North. I The ring events are numerous, and well worthy of note. There are many of the old-time favourites coming to try their luck again in the show I'.r.g, and the general public will be glad to sec them back.
