Mrs H. H. Danicll, of Foxtoa, is at present an inmate of a private hospital in Wellington, where she underwent :i serious operation, Mr and Mrs Y. Coley, while on u visit to Levin on Monday, were made the recipients or' :t valuable. Maori mat. Needless to say the gift wsmuch appreciated. Mr George Davison, works foreman of the Levin Borough Council, has resigned in order to take a position wiCh the Tauranga Borough Council. Me Davisou, as bandmaster and secretary of die Fire Brigade, has done useful work in Levin, and will be missed.
