CLEARING SALE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency- Company, Limited, report having conducted a clearing sale of dairy stock on account of Mr Thomas Prattley at tfce farm, Beach road, Te Horo, on Friday, 15th hist. There was a good attendance of buyers present, competition was keen, and the results of the sale proved highly satisfactory to the vendor. We quote: —Best cows £2»3 10s to £:32 10s, medium £2l to £-4. springing heifers £IS to £2.'J 10s. ligi 1 fat cow £ll. bull £9 10s, aged spring cart gelding £3O 10s, harness £l2, s.f. plough £24 10s, spring-cart (shaky) £l2 10s. Sundries sold at full market \alues. A good number of outside e . tries also met with ready sale at tlia following prices:—Cows in-milk three months £ls 10s to £22 10s, late calving cows £lO 7s (3d to £ls. light haws: horse £ls.
