An Order-in-Couueil was issued 01 Monday fixing tho maximum price o butter 'as recommended by the Butte Prices Investigation Committee of tli' House of Representatives. It eanii into force yesterday. The Order-in Council set, out that: 1. The maximum price of butter sol< in boxes in bulk shall be Is Hid pe: lb, ex factory door. 2. The maximum price of butter a; sold by the retailer shall be 2s 3d pei lb for "cash over the counter and 2s st! per lb if booked. o. The maximum prices herein hie. and determined shall not apply to but ter manufactured prior to August 1,
