Mr Sidey cannot get his Daylight Saving Bill through the House, but here and there throughout the Dominion different firms have been induced by their employees to give the innovation a trial. And now another group is getting ready for the summer season down in Christchurch, where a petition signed by 53 of the City Council's office I -tails, asking that the hours of work w during the summer months should be I from 5.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.. came r>aI fore the Council last week.
