LEVIN STOCK SALE.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having offered a fair yarding of sheep and cattle at the Levin sale on Tuesday, when a total clearance was effected at the following prices: Sheep.—Fat wethers £2. -l-tooth wethers to 345, store ewes to 29s 9d, m.s. woolly hoggets to 2fis, shorn hog-

gets IGs 3d. Cattle. —Three-year steers £ll 5s to £ll 12s Gd, 2-year Hereford cross steers £9 15s, coloured 2-year steers £7 10s, forward cows to £7 Is, springing heifers to £IG 10s, 2-ycar Holstein bull £l4 14s.

OTAKI STOCK SALE.

Messrs Dalgety and Co.. Ltd., report having offered a good entry of sheep and cattle at the Otaki sale on Wednesday-. A good yarding of fat sheep was penned, but competition was dull. The tone of the cattle market showed a decided improvement. Quotations:— Sheep.—Fat and forward wethers 35s Gd, fat hoggets 33s Gd, m.s. hoggets to 25s Sd.
