Constable Gregor, at one time a police constable relieving at Otaki, has received notice of transfer to Martiuborouglil Mr \V. 11. Beelier, of Levin, who is retiring from farming, has sold Ins farm to Mr Port, of Wellington, and with Mrs lJocher will leave shortly for England. Mr and Airs J. Cameron, erstwhile residents of Ghaunon uud now of Levin, were visited by a number of resident* of the northern township ou Friday mid presented with a valuable marble clock, suitably inscribed. Mr Cameron suitably replied.
