THE WOOL MARKET.
According to an American journal most of the wool men in Boston expect to see a gradual habilitntion of the market, though many express doubt as to whether values will do more than show a temporary reaction from the downward swing of May and June. As far as line and halfbred wools are concerned, most experts believe that they arc to have another run during the coining season, but the prices will lie modified bv the possibility of getting increased supplies from Australia and tire Cape. Offerings of tine pulle I wools are already being made from Australia for delivery at very low prices, and it is expected that these
t".- followed before long by offerings of fleece wools. The removal by the Australian Government of the etn bargo against tho shipment of woollod skins is understood to also remove tit • ban on skin (or pulled) wools, and the' •tier,- i»; no obstacle now in the way of shipping wool from Australia, except the fact that the British Government promises to monopolise the bulk of shipping room for the balance of tho wear.
