OBITUARY.
NEARLY A CENTENARIAN. > There jtassed away at the residence of her son, Mr James Collins, Foxton, on Sunday evening, Mrs Sarah Milieu Collins, relict of the late Mr Patrick Collins, at the great age of 96 years. The old lady enjoyed comparatively good health up to within two or three months ago. The late Mrs Collins accompanied her husband to New Zealand when lie arrived about (>/ years ago. Her husband, who predeceased, her about 38 years ago, after getting .his discharge from the Army, spent a short time in Wellington, subsequently removing to Foxton, about 60 yean* ago. The deceased has since reside! ; jiere. She leaves three, sons (Messrs .7 oh it, James and Tom), and two daughters (Mcsdamos Wylie and Bunvan. of Inglewood), and a large number of grand and great-grandchildren to mourn their loss. —“Herald.”
