LICENSING BILL.

ANOTHER AMENDMENT. Mr TV. H. Field, M.P. for Otaki, intends to move the 'following amendment on the committee stage of the Licensing Act Amendment Bill: “Where by any change of any electoral district by the Representation Commissioners appointed under the provisions of the Legislature Act, 1908, any licensed premises become included within the boundaries bf a district within which ‘no-license’ has been carried by a vote of the electors thereof, and thereafter by a subsequent change of boundaries by such’ Representation Commissioners such licensed premises have again become included within the boundaries of the licensing district of which the originally formed part (such last-mentioned district not having by a poll of the electors thereof carried ‘no-license’ within such district in the meantime), then and in every such case it shall be lawful for the Licensing Committee of such dis- • trict to again grant a license in respect of such premises.’’
