AMUSEMENTS.
“THE RIDERS OF THE PURPLE SAGE.” The above fine picture was screened at Brights’ Theatre last Friday night. Seeing'that the display was in aid of the Otaki Peaee Memorial, it was pleasing to see such a spleudid attendance. the hall being well filled. The picture was, a particularly fine one, and was much appreciated by the large audience, who are now looking forward to the screening of the sequel to the book, “The Rainbow Trail,’’ which will be shown here at no distant date.
During Friday evening Mr C. H. Williams (secretary of the Peace Memorial Committee) thanked all present for their attendance, and also returned hearty, thanks to Mr J. McMillan for so kindly supplying the entertainment free of cost,-and to the Otaki Band for providing music f’oi the evening.
