A WONDERFUL VILLAGE.
On the north bank of the Clyde River, eight mile- from Glasgow, lie the village ot Bowling. In appearance it is a country village with just its outskirt on the liver boasting a shipyard. At this point the Kilpatrick and Dum buck hills encroach closely to the river, ami the Great Western route: from Glasgow give battle* royal lot place on the narrow level. This i« where the* greatness of Bowling comes in. At no place in the world are ,-e many ways of communication eoverinj -m-h a small breadth. Wet! within one hundred and fifty yards there is th-. river. the North British Railway, th-. inn Railway, an old road, the main road and the tram-lines.
