* The N.Z. golf championship tournament commences at Hamilton on Sep- 1 I ember 13th. Among those who hove | entered are Mr R. C. Kirk, of the . Otaki Club; Messrs W. L. Fitzherbcrt, A. Extedf, W. Seifert, and C. C, Clement. of Palmerston North. The final of the Manawatu Golf Club’s championship resulted in a win for Kapi Tiirelm (Napier), who beat J. Goss (Wanganui), 5 up anil 4 to play.
