ADDINGTON MARKET. Christchurch, August 25. At the Addington markets to-day there, was an average yarding, and, generally, an easing in values. Store sheep prices-showed a drop in both hoggets and wethers —the former by quite 2s (id per head. There was a good yarding of ewes in lamb, which sold well. Ewe hoggets realised 22s Id to 3ts 3d, mixed sex hoggets 21s Id to 335, 2-tooth ewes in lamb 31s 6d to 3!ts, fairly good 2, 4. 6 and 8-tooth ewes in lamb 29s to 31s (id, sound and failing month ewes in lamb ISs 3d to 30s 3d, 6 and 8-toolh wethers 32s 2d to 36s 3d. 4 and S-tootli wethers 32s (id to 30s, 2-tooth wethers 24s Id lo 25s lOd. t sheep were a big yarding, and prices till round receded on last week’s rates by 3s to Is per head. Store cattle were a large yarding of indifferent quality, and good steers were in demand. Dairv cows were a smaller yarding. Good springers brought satisfactory values, but the bulk of the yarding was of inferior quality.
