♦ — I'EILDING STOCK SALIi. At the Feilding market on Fridaylast a good yarding of sheep and a fair, vardiug of cattle wore submitted to a representative" gathering of buyers. Competition was keen for sheep, prices ruling showing a slight decline. There was a good demand for dairy stock. Quotations:— Small hoggets Jits lid to •2l)n, fair -Ms to 235, very fair 2~>s to 275, good 27s (id to 30s, best up to 325, empty ewes 23s to 27s 4d. young 27s to ;;.|s (id. fut and forward ewes 32s to 345, light fat wethers 37s 3d to 30s, better sorts to 14s 6d, mixed ewes in lamb 32s 6d to 3(5s 6d, yearling Hereford steers £-1 us. do. heifers £5 2s b'd, empty two-year heifers £6 ss, store cows'£7 to £7 10s, dairy cows £ls to £lB, good springing heifers £l7 to £22.
