I OTAKI M.R.C. .\ meeting of stewards of the Otaki .Maori Racing Club was held on Saturday, when various matters of interest to ■members were discussed. It was J pointed out that as a result of the recent race meeting there was a. good | credit balance, while the result otheri wise was considered most gratifying. II was agreed to effect considerable improvement ti) the ground, and appointments. The totalisator house, which 1 has proved inadequate to cope with increasing business, is to be considerably enlarged, there is to be a new ladies' dressing-room, while the present one will be converted into f- portion of the dining-room,-thus making Ihe latter place, more commodious.
