SPORTS CLUB AMALGAMAMATION.

A well-attended meeting of the Otafci Social Club was held at the clubrooraa on Saturday night last, Mr \V. !;. Smith in the chair. :,]...,. x. O'Rourke and J. 1\ Brandon attended the meeting and explained the details of the proposed scheme for amalgamating the Otaki Bowling, Tc-cnb and Social Clubs. After the matter had been discussed fully, and (several questions asked and answered, it was, unanimously resolved to support the proposed scheme. Mes.-r. W. B. Smith and A. J. Podevin were appointed to represent the Club on the amalgamated finance committee. Mr T. O'Rourke, chairman of the amalgamated committee, wiii call a meeting of the delegate-, of the various clubs at an early date, when definite -rep-, will be taken re the amalgamation, which has; now- r>een approved by all three dabs interested.
