AFTER PROFITEERING
At the sitting of the Auckland Aatipruiiteering Tribunal complaints regarding the prices of boots and shoes, darning wool, ladies' -carves, tinned tuheroas. chaff, flour, coal, fowl-wheat, harness, horseshoes, mill-, and ivncmg wire were dealt, with. In several instances refunds were ordered, and the balance of the cases are still under investigation. A number of complaints were also received from country districts iu rc-spect to coastal steamer fares and railway freight-, but the tribunal had not the power to make investigations concerning tncin.
