Cooper reported that a letter of sympathy had been sent ! * * the members of the family of the deceased. Mr Leo. St. George, father of our r-teemed townsman. Mr L. G. • (gorge, died suddenly at; bis home. Master!on. on Monday last, aged 7.1 years. The late Mr .St. George had not been in good health for a long time pn.-t, but had' led a mo -t active life right up to the* last. Death was due to heart failure. --ir St. George wa- one of the oldest and most highly respects, c citizens of the Wairunipa, being Ore-,- , town’s pioneer chemist, and la?er being in business a.- a chemist at Masterton for nearly -0 years. He leaves a family of three son? —Messrs L. St. George, cd Otaki;, Lea. St. George, of England, now on a visit to New Zealand; and another hod residing in Taranaki; also two daughters, If e.-sin. me- Wood fWfcaugarei) and Earle ''wife of Lieut. Earle, of Defence Department, Auckland). Very deep sympathy is felt with I Mr L. St. George in his bereavement. 1 He L now away at Mm-ter ton for the J funeral, which taker place to-day.
