ADDINGTON MARKET. Christchurch, April 28. At Addington market to-day there was an average yarding of fat stock and a reduced one of store sheep. Values were well maintained in all classes of fat stock, particularly in sheep and cattle. The store sheep yarding comprised a considerable consign-
ment of South Otago and southern sheep, which were in backward condition. The market opened sluggishly', and at a considerable decrease on the preceding week’s rates. Vendors were prepa'fed to accept tho market, and (here were few passings. The tone and values improved as the sale progressed. Forward lambs 19s to 21s lOd, ordinary lambs 14s 9d, lSs (id, cull lambs 10s, 12. s 9d, good 2-tooth ewes to 29s 9d, 2,4, l>, and 8-tooth ewes 255, 2Ss (id, inferior 4,6, and S-tooth ewes 19s, 22s (id, 4 and 5-year owes 20s, 24s (id, sound-mouth ewes 21s Gd, 28s, good 4 and 6-tooth wethers 30s, 345. iuforior 4, 6 and 8-tooth wethers 255, 28s, good 2-tooth wethers to 235, ordinary and inferior 2-tooth wethers 225, 27s Gd. About 2750 fat lambs were yarded,
