ATHLETIC SPORTS COMMITTEE. The annual meeting of the Te Hero Dairy Co. Sports Committee was held at ths Supply Stores on the 23rd install d a fair number of members were present. The balance-sheet was read and adopted, and. -hewed a substantial credit balance. The following motions were carried unanimously:— "That the name of the committee be Changed to "The Te Her.. Athletic Sports Committee." That an annua! gathering be held on New Xear't Day. making that day a fixed day for the annual sports. That the secretary call a public meeting at leas; two month.- prior to the next annual gathering for the purpose of selecting a suitable committee to arrange programme, etc. That Mr Patten be elected secretary for the ensuing year. The Chairman (Mi .;. Faith) congratulated the commit u-e on the success of Their previous gathering. It was considered hy all present that to make this a "public -ports'' committee would create a keener interest throughout the district, ami jive the public a chance of taking a hand gonerally.
