♦ j MR HENRY NEWSON. One of the oldest and most esteemed residents of Manakau, in the pierson of Mr Henry :\<j\:-*<jn. died at the Otaki Hospital this afternoon, after .a long dine--, aged 7S years. Deceased, who had led an active life right up to a few weeks ago. entered the hospital and ess operated upon some weeks ago, but gradually sank, lie had lived for many y:.ir:- at Manakau, uiiere he was held b: high <.>steem. He leave? a wife and grown-up family to mourn their loss.
