GERMAN NAVY FLAGS FOR TOBACCO.
In connection with the winding up of the old German army it is said that the non-commissioned officers' school at Potsdam has been dessolved and the men either discharged or sent to regimental schools. All Prussian war flags are to be sent to Berlin for preservation in a museum. Since, the armistice some regiments have retained their battle flags. German newspapers recently published reports that 100 naval battle flags had been stolen by German workmen from a great quantity assembled in Danzig, and were exchanged as souvenirs with men of the British warship Coventry it! retina for cigarette?, smoking tobacco and chocolate.
