OBITUARY.
MRS H. T. COOPER. We regret to have to record the death of Mrs Cooper, wife o£ Mr H. T. Cooper, of Paekakarild, which occurred at 'Ohiki on Saturday . last. Mrs Cooper had been ill for .several months, and came to stay at Otaki, in order to receive medical attention. However, she gradually grew worse, and died as before' staled, aged (12 years. Mrs Cooper was born in Dorsetshire, and married in the Old Country. She and Mr Cooper arrived in New Zealand 32 years ago. They resided in the TVairarapa and forty Mile Bush districts for some years, and came to Packakariki some 20 years ago, and have lived there ever since. During her long residence ; at Packakariki Mrs Cooper was much beloved for her many sterling qualities, and a great many friends through- j out the district will hear with much. I regret of her death. She leaves a hus- j band and family of six—three sons j (Messrs Archie, of To lloro, Oscar and j Harold, of Eketahuna) and three | daughters (.Mrs Early, and Misses j Dorothy and Noiuh, all of Packaka- j riki). wit.li whom much sympathy is j felt. ' The funeral took ['lace at Otaki yes- j terday, when tko Kov. O. F. Petrie, | M.A., acted as officiating clergyman. j
