RIFLE SHOOTING.
1 LEVIN DEFENCE EIFLE CLUB. ! On Saturday afternoon the Levin Rifle Club fired the second competition of the third ersies of trophies. The afternoon was fine, and there was no wind to speak of, but the light was very dull for shooting, especially at the 600 yards range. The shooting on the whole was fair for the day. Rifleman L. Ingram was top-scorer with 8S points. Conditions were ten shots and sighter at 500 and 600 yards ranges. Following arc the scores:—..
Next Saturday the club will continue its shooting by firing the third competition of the third scries of trophies on 500 and 700 yards ranges.
