WOOL PRICES MOUNTING.

Wellington, March 30. Tho Prime Minister has received the following telegram from the Director of Raw Materials. London, regarding recent wool sales:—The third series closed on March 20 with a strong- tone as compared with the February closing rates. We quote merino 10 per cent dearer, fine crossbred 10 per cent, medium 12J per cent, coarser 10 per cent dearer, scoured and slips 5 per cent aud 7J per cent dearer.
