Allen, who has beon farming at Te Hon) for some time, ha - ; acquired a 500-acre sheep farm in the vicinity of Temuka (5.1.), and leaves immediately to take possession.
Mr-. Guy H. Schoheld, who since her arrival in New Zealand baa been stayin;,' with her mother, Mrs iirce, at Otaki, is at present on a visit to Wellington. The death occurred at Masterton on Tuesday of Mr Ben IsieholJs, who for many years wan a well-known horsetrainer in Hawke's Bay. The deceased had latterly been connected with Mr W. R. Kemball's stable at Laasdown«. |He v,as considered one of tiso beet [ judges of horseflesh in the Dominion.
