MANAKAU.
A meeting was held in the Manakau Methodist Church on Monday last to finalise tho annua! trust effort. The
treasurer reported the net takings of 1 the garden fete held on February Ith to bo £65, approximately. The meeting recorded its gratitude to God lor the success of the venture, and a motion of thanks was also unanimously ; passed to all who hud furthered the j effort, both by attendance at the fete or by whatever means. After discus- ■ sion of the plans of work for the year it was decided unanimously to hand all ' the takings over to the trustees for the ; purpose of debt liquidation.
