! ADDINGTON MARKET. | GOOD DEMAND FOR LAMBS. I Christchurch, February 11. . At the Addington market there was rather' a smaller yarding in most classes than usua 1 except in store sheep, and there was a good demand for forward lambs, but ewes were not so
easy to quit. Forward lambs made from 22s to 255, ordinary 10s to 20s Od, low conditioned 3 and inferior 12s 9d to 15s Gd, culls 6s I 3d to 11s, good 2-tpoth breeding ewes a to 33s lOd, good 2-tooth breeding ewes | 32s Id t0,32s (id, good 4-tooth ewes 345, I 5 and G-tooth ewes 23s Od to 275, sound- ’ iaouth ewes 21s (id to 265, 2-tooth weth- • ers 26s 7(1, fat lambs. 4Ss 7d. Exporters 1 operated freely and paid about 9Jd lb : overall for fat lambs, and the market | was firm all through." Fat Pigs.—The entry was on the small side, but there was a keeu inquiry. (store Pigs.—There was only a small entry of store pigs, which met with a fairly good demand. Prices were uuclianged, and the best stores made from £3 to £4, medium £2 7s Gd to £2 19s, small £2 to £2 12s Od, weaners £1 0s to £1 17s Od, sows in pig £S 2s Od.
