A lad mimed Williamson, It! years of Age. pleaded guilty at the Magistrate's Court to the theft of a bicycle from a To Aroha resident. He said lie had stowed away on a Xew Zealand transport in England, arriving at Wellington about four months ago. He had made his way round the country districts since, gradually working nerfh- . wards. At Taihape and Ohnkune he had forged cheques and obtained goods tinder fafc-e pretences.
