There is still (say> Hi" "Eltham Argus") a rage for Jersey stock in this district. Anything lhat has a good record commands a substantial price. Jersey calves bringing from £~> to £!i. Good Jersey cows, next s-pring are expected to realise record prices. Jerseys were in greal demand here some years ago. but now the Jerseys have come into their nun again. ■"■'■" " ~!!
