| HOROWHENUA COUNTY COUNCIL,. SPECIAL, ORDER. JN pursuanco and exercise of the powers vested in it. in that behalf by Section 16 of “The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1910,” and with the consent of the ratepayers of the Special Rating Area in the Horowhonua County hereinafter described, testified by a petition signed by not less than thTec-fourths of the ratepayers of the said Special Rating Area, the Capital Value of whose properties as appearing in the Valuation Roll of the said County, is collectively greater than the Capital Values of the properties of the Ratepayers who did not so consent, the Horowhenua County Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order, as follows:

That for the purpose of surveying and making a road on the North Bank of the Otaki Gorge from the Taungata Bridge to the Waitatapia Stream, the said Horotvhenua County Council hereby authorises the raising of a loan of £7DO at 41 per cent for 361 years, and declares that the first year’s Interest on the loan and the cost of raising the loan shall not be paid out ox the moncys'so raised, SPECIAL RATING AREA.

The North Bank, Otaki Gorge, Special Bating District, comprising Sections 1C and 17, Block IV'., Kaitnwa S.D., and Sections 18, 19 and -0, Block V., Taungata S.D.

The abovo Special Order was made at a Special Meeting of the Horovrhenua County Council, held on the 10th day of January, 1920, and will be submitted for confirmation at the ordinary meeting of the said Council to be held on the Hth day of February, 1920. P. W, GOLDSMITH, County Clerk.
