"Shoulder Arms" depicts Charlie's experiences and difficulties as a soldier, presented in his inimitable style, and each incident is a souree of insuppressible laughter. Whether in his endeavours to ""pick up that step" in the awkward squad or his grotesque antics when disi guised a? a camouflaged tree, zigzag- ' ging through a wood to avoid a Hun bayonet, he is always ihe little smile producer king ' of merrymakers. England and France, "THE SOABLET RUgKEE.** Owing to an unfortunate misunderstanding the above serial was not screened at Otaki last night. The management elsewhere apologises for tie omlssiOEi "THE SENTIMENTAL BLOEE."
