AUCTIONEER’S WARRANTY
A cow that failed to carry; out the warrantry given with it to, calve in August last was the subject of an
action for £S damages for breach of wnrrantry, by Ellen Ewens, of Hamilton, against -Joseph Eaw'son, of Kohimarama, at the Hamilton Court, Mr -T. Luxforc], for claimant, said the heifer was sold to plaintiff at a general sale of defendant's goods and chattels. The advertisement of the sale stated that the heifer was due'"to calve in August, while the auctioneer also stated that the vendor-had told him
