SATURDAY FIXTURES. The following new fixtures for Saturday matches have been arranged:— January 17th. Levin v. Te Horo. at Te Horo. Maoris (Levin) v. Shannon, at Levin January 24th. Shannon v. Te Horo. at Shannon. Maoris v. Levin, at Levin. On Saturday last Shannon and Y.M.C.A. teams met at Levin, when the Lcvinites were badly beaten by 145 to <l7, Shannon being a superior, allround team. For Shannon, Berquist scored 32, Merwood L’S and Hemmingson 20. while Harris (30) and Better (16) were the only home men to get into double figures. The following team will represent Horowhenua in u representative match against Manuwatu, to be played at Palmerston North on Anniversary Day: —Randall, Berquist, Hemmingson, Boidge and Merwood (Shannon), Atkins, Claridge, Rev.
